In 2010, Justine opened her first salon, Loxx by Justine Inc., on Main Street in Medford. Her vision was simple but powerful: to create a welcoming, happy, judgment-free salon where clients and staff alike would feel at home. Though just 600 square feet, the space radiated warmth, comfort, and community — the kind of place where “everyone knows your name.”
After five successful years, Justine pursued her dream of expansion, opening a second location in Stoneham in 2015. The new space was more than double the size, designed to reach a broader clientele and grow her team. But by 2018, she realized that bigger isn’t always better. The demands of running a large business began to overshadow her true passion: creating beautiful hair and meaningful connections with her clients.
That realization brought Justine to The Beauty Café in downtown Melrose, where she rented a space for six years. It was a refreshing change that allowed her to refocus on her craft and reconnect with the joy of making her clients feel their best.
In 2024, Justine felt it was time for another new chapter. She moved her salon to a serene, light-filled space in Reading, Massachusetts. Quiet and peaceful, her new location provides the perfect environment to focus entirely on her clients while offering them a calm, personalized experience.
With over 20 years of experience, Justine is highly regarded for her coloring expertise, commitment to advanced techniques, and use of only the best professional products. She values listening, understanding, and respecting her clients’ unique needs. She also believes strongly in continuing education, always striving to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Above all, Justine considers her greatest achievement to be the loyalty of her clients — many of whom have been with her throughout her entire career.
